Our Approach
Quality work without the contractor overhead
We believe small home repairs deserve the same professional attention as major renovations—just without the inflated pricing and scheduling hassles.
Why we started this service
The gap between DIY and hiring a full contractor is wider than it should be. Homeowners face a frustrating choice: spend your weekend struggling with furniture assembly instructions, or pay contractor rates with project minimums for what amounts to an hour of work.
We saw this problem repeatedly—skilled tradespeople turning down small jobs because they weren't worth the administrative overhead, and homeowners putting off necessary repairs because the existing options didn't make sense. So we built a service specifically for these situations.
Transparent pricing from the start
Our hourly rate is stated upfront. You know what you're paying before we schedule anything. No project minimums, no trip charges disguised as "service fees," no markup games on materials.
If a job requires specific materials beyond basic supplies, we discuss options and costs before purchasing. You approve expenses before they happen. When the work is done, you pay for actual hours worked at the rate we quoted. It's straightforward because pricing shouldn't require translation.
Skilled tradespeople, not generalists
The people we send to your home have trade backgrounds. They've installed hundreds of faucets, mounted countless TVs, assembled more furniture than they care to count. Experience matters when you're drilling into walls, working with plumbing connections, or adjusting door hardware.
Small jobs still require skill. A shelf that's not properly anchored will eventually fall. A door that's not hung correctly will stick or swing open on its own. A faucet connection that's slightly off will leak later. We handle these details correctly the first time.
Respect for your time and home
We provide actual appointment times, not vague four-hour windows. If something comes up that affects scheduling, we contact you immediately—not five minutes before the appointment window closes.
When we work in your home, we treat it like our own. Drop cloths go down before work starts. Tools stay organized. We clean up thoroughly before leaving. Your home should look better after we're done, not just because the repair is complete but because we didn't leave a mess.
No job too small
Other services have minimum project sizes because their business model requires it. We don't. If you need one shelf mounted or a single door adjusted, that's a legitimate job worth doing properly.
Small repairs prevent bigger problems. That sticking door wears down the frame over time. The loose cabinet handle eventually strips its threads completely. The dripping faucet wastes water and money. Addressing these issues when they're minor is sensible home maintenance.
Serving Edmonton communities
We work throughout Edmonton and surrounding areas. Our service radius is designed to maintain reasonable response times while covering the communities that need reliable handyman services.
Whether you're in an older neighborhood with homes that need regular maintenance or a newer development with warranty work that's expired, we can help. Different homes have different needs, but they all benefit from skilled attention to repairs and installations.
